First Week - Check!
It’s offical—I’ve spent a full week in SB. Kicked off the weekend with a rally (certainly not comparable to SRV’s) and the first game of the season against USD. We flew tortillas like they were frisbees and watched as some tripped out upperclassman girl punched my friend in the face. Lovely.
Chad came down for a last minute visit and we roamed DP for a bit with everyone. Nothing too crazy, just dined out at Silvergreens and then watched mobs of students stumble from house to house. I’m pretty sure that IV is one of the only places where DJ dance ragers are commonly found on front lawns every Friday night.
Spent most of Saturday playing tourist with Chad around campus and downtown SB. After he left this morning, I had to spend most of my Sunday playing catch up so I wouldn’t be behind for Monday’s classes (I have three back to back…).
