Time to Explore
I’ve been spending the past couple of days looking for ways to get involved on campus: Hall Council, Polynesian Dance Club, AKP (co-ed business frat), The Daily Nexus (campus newspaper), intramurals, Behind the Walls, and a few other things.
Of course, that also means that I haven’t had time to breath since yesterday morning. After having class from 9-5pm Tuesday, I got to check out the hulau (or more so club) for Tahitian dance. Turns out its actually a hula/Tahitian/Polynesian fusion and it’s a lotttt more laid back than Motu Aina. It should be a good year though, there were about 50-60 people at the first practice!
Also had a chance to check out The Daily Nexus. I think I may try out the art and photography sections (they’re both paid!). Before that, though, I spent most of my day setting up my campaign for Hall Council. I might upload my campaign flyers later if I have the time. (:
And now I’m off to an AKP info meeting.
Hopefully college will teach me a lot about time management, otherwise I’m screwed…
