Baby It’s Cold Outside

Break is going by way too fast—it’s already over half-way through. Boooo.

Christmas week was fantastic. Everything went smoothly with shopping and cooking and what-not. The only real hiccups were that my mom already owned the book I had gotten her (she bought it for iPad), and Chad’s iPhone case didn’t come in until two days after Christmas. Ah well.

Christmas eve, we had a fancy little dinner and watched It’s a Wonderful Life afterwards. Come morning, I got everyone up at 8am (since I’m the youngest, it’s my informal duty wake up wide-eyed and bushy-tailed), and we proceeded to open stockings. Then came breakfast with gingerbread waffles, grapefruit, and bacon. And then presents!

Mom: Bose headphones, iPad keyboard, some other stuff

John: table saw, Armani watch, sinful things

Grandpa: laptop

Grandma: digital photo frame

David: money, laptop battery (his old one died)

Me: new camera lense, jewelry, art supplies, and a SHOPPING SPREE :D (my grandparents are incredibly generous people)

So it’s been a busy week of shopping for me, as well as seeing friends and hanging out with the boyfriend (who has been kind enough to drive me around while I shop, and buy me flowers on top of that) and my family. Still on a holiday high.
